In the beginning, Alicia wasn’t the first to speak up — but she was always listening, always learning.
Starting as an on-site, she preferred to stay behind the scenes. But today, as the Manager of our Winchester office, Alicia makes it a point to know every person who walks through our doors — not just their names, but their stories.
Her journey is more than a title change. It’s a story of transformation — from shyness to self-assurance, from renting to owning a home, from long hours to meaningful time with family. “Now I have the time to take off and spend with my family,” she shares with a quiet kind of pride.
What stands out most to Alicia about Metro isn’t a single moment, but the feeling she gets every day: “Metro isn’t just a job — it’s a family. A family that listens, prays, and truly cares.”
Outside of work, Alicia’s happiest with her husband and kids — whether they’re riding RZRs over new trails or enjoying a board game and movie night. Her walking trail, lovingly built by her husband on their property, offers a peaceful place to reset and clear her mind.
Her husband is her inspiration. “He met me in a dark time and believed in me before I believed in myself.” Her kids also push her to keep becoming the best version of who she is.
When asked what advice she’d give others navigating challenges like she has, Alicia’s words are simple but powerful: “Do not give up and believe in yourself. One day, it will turn around for the best. Just keep praying.”
From on-the-ground dedication to leading with heart, Alicia is living proof that when you plant roots in the right place — and surround yourself with people who believe in you — growth is inevitable.
