Sabrina Callahan never expected that a job would lead her closer to God—but that’s exactly what happened.
When she joined Metro over three years ago, she thought she was stepping into a new career. What she found was something even deeper: a purpose.
“Working at Metro has helped me mature mentally and spiritually. I see people and their struggles differently now. I’ve learned patience, empathy, and a whole new level of understanding.” That heart for others is something she carries into her work every single day.
“Customer service is everything,” Sabrina says. “Whether it’s a walk-in, a phone call, or a client, everyone deserves kindness, love, and respect. I greet people with a smile. I treat their needs as if they’re my own. It’s just how I believe people should be treated.”
That mindset was especially evident when the office was tasked with filling over 30 open roles for a local client—quickly. Walk-in traffic was slow, time was limited, but the need was urgent. So, Sabrina and her team jumped into action. “We didn’t have long, but we pulled together a job fair in just a few days. Everyone did their part—calls, flyers, snacks, setup. Metro showed up like always, and because of that teamwork, we filled over half the positions right there.”
Outside of the office, Sabrina’s world is all about her sons and her faith. She loves her downtime, relaxing at home, and being front row at every baseball, football, or basketball game her youngest plays. “My boys are my inspiration. They push me to be the best version of myself, and that makes me a better woman all around.
Still, her journey hasn’t been easy. In 2007, she faced one of the most unimaginable losses: the death of a child. That grief led her down a hard path—but her faith never left her. “I eventually stepped out on faith that the Lord would help me find a new normal. He did. I’ve grown stronger through the storm. Now I know I can handle more than I ever imagined.”
Her resilience has carried her through countless seasons of life, including reaching a major personal goal: building a career, not just a job. “I’ve always wanted to do something that makes me feel good at the end of the day. At Metro, I get to help people with their livelihood—give them peace of mind in a tough economy. That means everything.”
Sabrina didn’t just find a job at Metro. She found healing, purpose, teamwork, and a space to serve others. And that’s the kind of impact that sticks.
