Metro Services is looking to fill assembler positions for a packaging company in Huntsville, AL.

Duties for this position include:
- Assemble parts and materials according to written, illustrated, and/or verbal instructions such as work orders
- Utilize adhesive tape, glue gun/roller, heat gun, sonic-welder, drill, and other tools such as slabber, bandsaw, slitter, press machine, down cutter, welder, and other equipment as required to assemble parts
- Stage completed parts and prepare for shipping
- Support completion of documentation as required
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Comply with established quality and safety standards
- Report quality errors, material issues, and other quality concerns as required
- Report any safety issues
- May operate a forklift as required to complete tasks
- Complete other tasks and support different workstations as production needs require
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean Background
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure preferred
- Must have the ability to read written instructions
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, twist, lean over, and lift to 40 lbs.
