Q:  How long have you worked at Metro Services?
A:  I’ve worked at Metro Services just over seven months.

Q:  What does your job entail?
A:  It’s much more than I can possibly list here. The most important part of my job, though, is to provide the best customer experience possible.

Q: What’s the unique part of working here?
A: Everything! The culture, support, encouragement, ability to travel, etc.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I am torn between the interaction I get to have with my team members and knowing that the customer is satisfied, at minimum, with their experience.

Q:  What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
A:  I’ve learned listening and caring skills, which are necessary for an employee’s well-being and customer satisfaction.

Q:  What do you love most about your industry?
A:  I truly have a love for manufacturing, specifically the technology, safety controls, processes, and how far the industry has come and is moving forward with diversity and inclusion in its structure.

Q:  How would you describe Metro’s company culture?
A:  It’s embracing. I have never worked for another company that makes a point to highlight one’s strengths, work together through any weaknesses, and provide continuous support. Even when I walk into a facility a thousand miles away, I feel as though the entire Metro office staff is there with my team and me.

Q:  What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
A:  My favorite way to spend my day off is with my wife, exploring new places, discovering new sights, and embracing the local culture of wherever we happen to be.

Q:  What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better?
A:  Only one thing?! Positive feedback, whether from the call center, upper management, a customer, or a Metro employee, can improve my day.

Q:  Do you have a favorite piece of advice or quote you would like to share?
A:  "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Q:  Where is the next place on your travel bucket list?
A:  Unless Metro picks up a contract in Ireland, I will settle for western South Dakota. The Black Hills and the Badlands fascinate me.

Q: What is your dream?
A:  While I don't dream much, I do dream of being a preacher. I also have specific goals, which are to become the best on-site supervisor I can possibly be and advance in my career at Metro Industrial Services.
