Job Type: Temp/Contract to Direct
Hours: Full Time

Duties for this position include:

• Set up and operator progressive metal stamping dies in power press, mainly minster presses
• Check first piece part using various gages and inspection tools to ensure customer quality standards are met
• Operate one or more machines to run production
• Properly start and end coil strips without miss-hits or die damage
• Thread a straightened strip from the entry part of the feel
• Ability to start strip through the die and begin continuous machine operation
• Recognize coil straightness problems
• Assist with properly and safely loading a coil
• Ability and knowledge to assist with setups, including clamping, alignment adjustments, and minor probe adjustments
• Responsible for following lockout/tagout requirements
• Ensure proper labeling requirements are followed

Compensation (USD):
$15.00/hour

Schedule:
2nd Shift
Monday - Saturday
Sundays when required

3:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

or

3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to understand the importance of standardized work in a lean manufacturing environment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, turning, and lifting
• Proper PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves) are required
• Previous metal stamping experience
• Pass Drug Screen and No Felonies
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience preferred but will train
