Hours: Full Time
Required Education: High School Diploma / GED

Duties of a General Labor Operator:

  • Produce quality parts to standards
  • Ensure the use of Excellence System principles in daily routines
  • Function in the assembly production area
  • Insert parts in the machine, ensure proper location, activate machine which automatically marries parts into sub-assembly or assembly
  • Ensure automatic ejection or removal of parts by hand
  • Perform changeovers in a complete and proper manner
  • Familiar with index tables and conveyor systems
  • Direct/train new assemblers in carrying out their duties as required including the FES principals
  • Perform rework operations as required
  • Maintain a visual check of parts produced in order to note obvious defects
  • Check parts produced with appropriate gauges
  • Make adjustments as needed during production
  • Ensure all safety devices are properly adjusted, in place and all procedures are followed
  • Inform GAP leader, supervisor, or maintenance of any equipment performance issues
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the plant
  • Conduct daily activities in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to its seven values
  • Comply with and reinforce the Code of Management and Code of Ethics
  • All other assigned duties

Sunday - Thursday
7:00 pm - 7:00 a.m.

Compensation (USD):
1st Shift

2nd Shift

3rd Shift
$13.00/hour with .50 bonus

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours a day
  • Skills/Know-how
  • Credentials and background check
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to read/write proficiently in English
  • Good dexterity in manual assembly
